On February 13th, 1917, the Belgian cargo ship TAXANDRIER, built in 1900 by Craggs, Robert & Sons and owned by Scheepvaart Maatschappij Gylsen, left New York for Bordeaux with a cargo of war material, and went missing. She was not heard of ever since.
